It has not become that to me. Its a space where some measure of truth, education and/or science matter. It’s where you wont be hit by deranged bots all day long. Its where opinions are conversations and not dopamine jolts of anger. I don’t call that a digital insane asylum.

🐶 One tick bite can expose your dog to multiple dangerous pathogens:
• Ehrlichia
• Anaplasma
• Babesia
• RMSF
• Hepatozoon (if ingested)
• Possibly Bartonella (co-infection risk)

🧬 These can invade blood cells, suppress immunity, even damage organs.

🧬 Many tick-borne pathogens are intracellular—they hide inside the hosts own cells.

• Babesia → inside red blood cells
• Ehrlichia & Anaplasma → inside white blood cells

They hijack immune & oxygen systems to reproduce. Harder to detect & treat; they can cause chronic illness or immune collapse

📈 Pathogens carried by ticks have increased dramatically over the last 50 years.
• Lyme disease: Identified in the 1970s
• Babesia: A malaria-like parasite
• Ehrlichia & Anaplasma: Blood cell–attacking bacteria
• Powassan virus: Rare dangerous encephalitis virus

What’s striking is that two of the most dangerous disease vectors—mosquitoes and ticks—are also:
• Small
• Ubiquitous
• Often underestimated
This contrast between perceived harmlessness and real-world threat is a psychological blind spot, not a biological truth. www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes...

Its *not hard* to feel empathy. We all feel this same pain. Im grateful for the reevaluation and sorry he was hurt. If everyone re-evaluated like this our country would be much place going forward (since we cant go back in time….)

Its been around forever and has pretty high viewership?
Its partisan for sure.
So is this infographic about media that not blatantly partisan?

So you think Biden’s infrastructure bill - the highways you still see being repaired and expanded, are as problematic
as 1) ending scientific research as we know it- no US new healthcare, drug discoveries, 2) no educational ability to compete internationally with top educational talent in STEM
