Doomerism is completely unhelpful. We still need to fight to save this country. Even if it is literally hopeless and fighting will do absolutely nothing, I believe that there is value in fighting for a better world in and of itself.

I think one thing Democrats don't realize is no one cares about policies to support or start small businesses because anyone who's ever worked for a small business will probably tell you it was a chaotic, dysfunctional shit show run by a petty tyrant with no labor law protections and it sucked.

I know dude’s since been banned from CNN but the fact that he felt comfortable saying this on national television speaks to a deeper problem: anti-Palestinian sentiment has been so normalized in our media. The recent CBS interview with Coates highlighted this issue as well—albeit less brazenly.
