I started in March so at the other end. The pay is definitely low (even compared to the NHS) but the benefite are currently outweighing that for me.

We don't (married 9.5 years). Although I can see the benefits for bills etc (same reason we have a joint bank account) but certainly not interested in random friends emails etc. They can stay separate. We're married, not merged into a single unit.
