A stately 72 kilos.
Oftentimes it’s just straight up better. The decades of insecurity and desperation have made them absolute wizards at flavor engineering.

Maybe! My suspicion is that legendary ornament acquisition trends down over time as people accrue more, it certainly has for me, but maybe I’m not representative.

I’m sure that’s the angle they’re counting on and why they’re doing it. I just think the “I have 30 things I like I can apply to this already why would I pay money for a 31st” effect is going to completely outweigh that, personally.

This is a weird one and I feel like may backfire on you. The uniqueness of specific ornaments for specific exotics is what drives their desirability for a lot of people, and if that’s flattened out most people are gonna stick to a couple favorites and never browse eververse again.

Can’t believe people drink that swill, I say, swilling my swill

You say you like bald guys one time then *every* year it’s bald guy shirts from the grandparents and bald guy figurines from the aunts and uncles.

Yeah I agree, though I think that’s more of a symptom of systems and people desperate for something they can pretend is an “objective measurement” where none exists. Unfortunately I think in its absence they’d invent another one anyways, because the machine demands it.

Of course that can create perverse incentives. Review at extremes are incentivized because middling scores will be seen less. To say nothing of shit like the infamous MC-indexed bonus. It can be grossly abused, but I’d argue the people looking to abuse it would find another metric to do so anyways.

If it’s a 70 is it a polarized 70 or all smoothly mediocre? Does the 90 have any low outliers? Is it all certain types of outlets giving the 80? You can develop a lot of useful heuristics that help guide you to helpful reviews you might not otherwise have seen.
November 11, 2025 at 9:40 PM
Maybe my most unpopular opinion in game journo circles is that I think MC (or rather, OpenCritic) is incredibly valuable. 😬 If you think the number means anything in itself you’re dumb, but whether a game is a 90 or 80 or 70 helps inform what reviews I need to look at to get a decently full picture.

Quest and Apple Vision Pro lol. The Steam release adds mouse and controller support as well now.

The spiritual successor, Thrasher, just came out on PC. People seem to have largely missed it, but I’ve enjoyed it so far.

Amazing that you determined all of that from two episodes. Thank god things can’t be layered or evolve, otherwise you might look pretty silly drawing those conclusions so hastily!

I have them all on Warn, which I love because then you get a little section you can open up if you ever want to see a bunch of replies that just say “bitchass” and “kill yourself”

In the remake they turn to camera and take a refreshing sip of Prime from Logan Paul and KSI, to keep the line relevant for the youths

Unfortunately the best case scenario there is still only making hundreds of millions of dollars, whereas if you make neverending multiplayer slop, there’s a minuscule but non-zero chance it becomes an infinite money glitch. And the EV of 0.00001% of ♾️ is ♾️

Not in any important way. It’ll make background like “Auntie Cleo’s hostile takeover of Spacer’s Choice” mean something, but the PC’s story in 1 doesn’t really factor.

Video games in general right now are insanely good, which feels wrong given how much Gamers are implicated in our current predicament

Can you at least elaborate on what kind of puzzle games I should like to play it?
