text: driving (slowly) into work today, i had a lot of time to think about important things. like, i keep fingerless glove/mittens in the car to use if my hands get cold.

my feet were cold, though, and i thought, "i need gloves for my feet! that would be awesome."

so are you willing to admit that you were misguided in urging people to stay away from the protests?

if it's a trap, well, no one said resistance would be easy. this is important enough and i am brave enough. we have to show that we are not okay with this, and so far,it's this or do nothing. where are the protests organized by the people you mentioned? how are they raising visibility?

i am an anti-fascist named den martinson living in seattle washington. if you friend me on facebook you can read the liberal posts i've made since 2009. as far as i know, 50501 is a grassroots effort in response to the events of the last week. the protest in oly has permits. i'm going.

so you're surprised that people who want to resist the new regime came to a place where the resistance is known to be active? you're surprised that anti-fascist grassroots activity is happening?

again, what are you implying?right now it sounds like you're trying to keep people from protesting.

your point? i was happy without a twitter-like thing in my life, but when shit went down i came here. i want to resist the fascists who have taken over the govt, and the movement is active here.

if you want to accuse me of something, be straightforward about it. insinuation is for cowards.

resistance involves risk, and we have to accept that. if we're going to give up based on some rumors, we're making so they don't even have to try to shut us up. we can't make it easy for them by letting some trolls shut us down without even leaving their houses.

if you want to warn people, warn them about things you have concrete evidence of - everything i've seen has been people reading tea leaves and coming to the conclusion that 50501 is not real.
