Can people please explain to me why everyone seems to believe Frankenstein's Monster was brought to life using lightning?

Honestly, it looks to me like it might have been added in the 1831 revision which happened 4 years after the Mummy was reanimated by galvanic battery.

Ok, gang, editing of my Frankenstein streams (from 2022!?!?!) is well under way.

So far, the Preface, Letters 1 through 4, and chapters One are uploaded so far.

Chapter Two is currently frame rendering and should be up soon, then on to Chapter Three.
