A rare case of the film being better than the book for me. I understand it’s satire and done to show his obsession with detail but it’s mind numbing to read. (Said this on goodreads but their stupid design gets rid once you shelve it).

Told me yesterday she was worried about reading my copy as she doesn’t want to damage it, I said she could rip it in half and it still wouldn’t offend me as much as if she called it shite.

From past experience the real life results and league finishes is where it becomes a bit messy, had a save a few years ago ruined by teams not getting promoted using that.
I’ve just gone with the sortitoutsi updated transfers for now, finding a save is a whole other problem.

I’m just trying to maintain some kind of order in my brain as I tend to horde a load of concepts I’ve found interesting from games/films/books to explore books with similar concepts later on. Currently in a bit of a Metropolis/Bioshock binge.

It was indeed, still trying to scratch that Roadside Picnic itch, something about that sort of unknown land ecology that intrigues me.

I think I’m going to read Stoner after I finish All the Pretty Horses, not quite sure if switching away from the border trilogy and then going back is a good idea though
