This was taken at Brooklyn Museum at 6:30pm EDT. The truck is towing the “Bun Spot” food cart. The operator may be Red Hook Beverages Corp at 66 Seebring (unconfirmed). This is a reoccurring issue.

There was a bill introduced at the state level to allow the city to put cameras on street sweepers to fine drivers who don’t move their cars, but it doesn’t look like it went anywhere www.brooklynpaper.com/street-sweep...
Street sweepers may soon issue tickets as Brooklyn pols move to crack down on alternate-side parking violators • Brooklyn Paper
Brooklyn drivers who ignore alternate side-parking rules may soon face automated fines, as the City Council pushes for a state-approved pilot program to mount

Feels like the city is hoping they just sell out, and some have. But so far many seem content to stay. One also has to consider environmental contamination.

I blame lack of planning in many cases. Near me is a former industrial area with a corridor of auto businesses. With lots of new residential (and more planned) conflict is inevitable. While garages shouldn’t park cars illegally realistically they probably can’t function if they don’t

and yet somehow noone seems to care about concatenation, the one operation that is used *everywhere*, to the point that all the Monoid functions in haskell have to be right-biased because the default use case for them is with list concatenation

Yesterday’s SR got a summons as well. But the car has been parking like this for about a month, so apart from my own 311 complaints, NYPD traffic just don’t operate in this area. The owner is a court officer in training, but he isn’t displaying a placard or other deterrent that I’ve seen

Well this is a repeat offender and has been a whole saga during I which I was variously contacted. But for today’s SR there was no call back. bsky.app/profile/kino...
This Toyota belongs to cadet of the Court Officers Academy on St John’s and keeps parking in the no standing. Forcing a school bus which waits an hour in the morning (a shorter time in evening) to stand in the crosswalk. Reported to 311/71pct without resolution. cc @cmcrystalhudson.bsky.social

Update: The 77pct ended up issuing a summons, although this is 71 pct jurisdiction. Regarding jurisdiction, they stated the following (which conflicts with what I was previously told)

In addition the SR specifies what precinct and links a previous SR so I really don’t understand how this happens in good faith. Saying that, they did follow up with a text message, so I guess that’s a species of progress
