Congrats to TUSM/Maine track student Eva Farkas for her research award re: examining the impact of inpatient addiction care in Maine. Another spoiler alert: MOUD prescribing and vaccination rates improved! Another reason why institutions should support addiction med clinicians. ✨

Congrats to TUSM students Melissa Calica, Amanda Cahn, and Erin Mootz (+ team!) on their hard work on examining clinician comfort & practices re: harm reduction kit distribution at hospitals in Maine. Spoiler alert: clinicians are ready & willing. Next step- continue to implement system-wide. ✨
