For hemp, we used bavarian-bondage and vaegabound both from Germany and delivering good quality. But we rarely use hemp currently, so we haven't bought some in ~2 years.

Not sure it wil be that helpful as our sources are all EU based. Our favorite is the Clara jute from esinem-rope.com We also have a set from @koumanawa.bsky.social, really nice rope, just for our taste a bit too tightly laid. For the morning coffee it is a washed single origin from Peru made in a frensh-press. The favorite filter methods are the fellow stagg or V60. Coffees for that are whatever we pick up at small, local specialty roasters. The espresso of choice atm is an anoerobic fermented Ethiosar from Nicaragua.

When a harness / tie is done very nearly & symmetrical and then the leftover rope is used to make it looks messy and asymmetric it drives the inner monk crazy.
