My friend Carrera brought me limited edition Takoyaki 🐙 flavored Pringles from her last trip to Osaka! I’m a huge sucker for all things shiny, new and special edition. And takoyaki is my Japanese home base’s street food specialty. (That would be Osaka, icymi.) Dopamine charge at first sight lol 😍

Got my gear organized so I can grab and create on the fly. This project was years suspended due to running a business more than taking care of myself. I shall now massage my soul with fractured beats and egregious sampling.

Ordered myself a little birthday present that’s long been on my wishlist. Not here yet but I put it here virtually so Monty could check it out. He approves, naturally. Very excited to work the legendary SP-404 into a new live project. My BS2000-inspired sampler project can finally take flight. ⏭️

Sitting in the ashes & rubble of a fire that turned out to be the end of Kinky Kontrol E LA, drowning in debt, I asked myself what is it all for? I didn’t know it at the time but it was the early bridge to Kinky 2.0, which puts an emphasis on fun & living my hobby instead of being owned by it. 🐹

Getting ready to make my grandma’s pancit bihon recipe to bring to the fam. It’s kind of a surprise; we haven’t had it much since Grandma Lyd passed. I used to make it w her in her kitchen. Been a minute. Not even sure if these Chinese rice noodles will work lol (They should.) Wish me luck!

Tonight I watched Knives Out and enjoyed it. I found a super cut of Ransom saying “eat shit” in several different languages and made a quick and silly Knives Out chop. Now I’m gonna go watch the KO that’s on Netflix. Good night. 🐨
