Also make a point to use correct pronouns to refer to trans friends, especially in front of them when part of a group conversation

The NC-17 cut, of course!

And the centrist characters in this absolutely SEND ME 😆

This movie has gotten only more relevant with time –🦜

The one I'm somewhat annoyed that has vanished from my area of the Atlanta surrounds is Fazolis.

(Growing up, pasta was a somewhat disproportionate favorite food. When we were really young, we had brief dreams of opening an Italian fast food chain, just like what Fazolis is 😆)

It's mass-market American Italian cuisine. Like "it's okay, wouldn't pass it up" to a couple friends with Italian family backgrounds.

Their main selling point is franchise consistency in the food. You generally know what you're going to get, regardless of which location you go to.

Like you said, "detransitioning" is a concept that people find useful and healthy, but unfortunately it's been co-opted by the usual suspects, especially when used in the word form "detransitioner."
November 14, 2025 at 12:51 AM
The entire narrative being pushed behind "detransitioning" is founded in treating transition as a presumptive mistake, something nobody of right mind would do.

It's just "trans = mentally ill" wrapped in a light coat of "we can fix you before you're a lost cause" paint.

And frankly, the concept is fundamental to the survival of the queer community. Our survival has been based on helping each other. That's why we call out the ladder pullers when they do it.

I've always believed in the concept of paying it forward, because that was (more than) once done for me.

Yep. Businesses are implementing nickel rounding now.

I was lucky to be part of the 80s/90s version of "online" (BBS's) but even that was pretty lonely.

Profound social isolation for most of my upbringing prepped me to be emotionally abused later in life too. The words "stolen childhood" don't even begin to cover it. *big hugs*

I didn't really come to terms with one of my major childhood traumas until fairly recently.

It seems so mundane to many people, but I really didn't have any IRL friends until my senior year of high school. Only the very occasional visit from a semifriend before that, maybe 10 times total?

I hope they heal fast ❤️ and that your stress today doesn't peg the meter needle from the jump

Yep it's the same shit as always
For five decades Republicans have fought relentlessly to deny the people at least one of housing, food, or healthcare, to reserve them only for the privileged.

They're trying to hit the trifecta. There is no justification for this. It is to make people (whom they don't prefer) simply die.
