All this to say, please wear a mask. Short of quitting his job, there aren’t more precautions my boyfriend and I can take. I’ve spent my birthday and the holidays sicker than hell because people just don’t care about masks unless someone they know has Covid, and not even always then

To me, but he recovers almost immediately while I (immunocompromised and rarely leave home for this reason) get worse over the course of three days before starting to recover. Please wear a mask. I’m the person those mask adverts talk about. The people you don’t think about since you don’t see them
