Final in Fort Collins: Colorado State 93, Cal Poly 79

#CSURams move to 3-0 by scoring 90+ points for the third straight game. Josh Pascarelli leads the way with a season-high 22 points. Carey Booth has 15 points and 10 rebounds for his second straight double-double.

Another impressive showing.

Disappointing for former #CUBuffs star Travis Hunter as the Heisman winner's rookie season is cut short due to a knee injury.
Sources: Jaguars star CB/WR Travis Hunter underwent season-ending knee surgery, with eyes set on 2026. It was an LCL repair.

He’s expected to return within 6 months to full football activities.

There was no other damage besides the LCL. Some good news there.

Even though I wasn't in Morgantown, I recapped the #CUBuffs' loss to West Virginia and the encouraging first career start for Julian Lewis.

My thoughts on how Coach Prime and the Buffs can build around him after a disappointing season ⬇️

Episode 46 of Basketball in the Mountains is live. It's a solo edition where I talk about the encouraging starts to the season for both the Phoenix Suns and Utah Jazz that have been recently derailed by injuries to Jalen Green and Walker Kessler, respectively.

#CSURams soph. F Kyle Jorgensen named Mountain West player of the week averaging 20 points and 9 rebounds per game during team’s 2-0 start.

The #CUBuffs got a glimpse into the future Saturday.

Even though it's officially a lost season without a bowl, Coach Prime has found a QB in Julian 'JuJu' Lewis that he can build around for next season.

"I promise there are going to be some changes.”

ButterBurgers for everyone.

Thanks to a new promotion and a high-powered offense in the first 2 games of the Ali Farokhmanesh era, #CSURams fans will be eating good at Culver's this basketball season.

“It’s hard not to have fun in a system like this."

Final: Colorado State 97, Omaha 74

#CSURams are 2-0 to start the Ali Farokhmanesh era after another impressive offensive display. They've scored 90+ points and shot 30+ FTs in each of the first 2 games. Kyle Jorgensen's career-high 25 points leads the way.

Super impressed by Kyle Jorgensen's game today. Putting on a clinic in post scoring. Patient, getting to his spots, creating good angles near the rim, drawing fouls. The sophomore has a career-high 20 points (6-9 FGs, 7-8 FTs) as the #CSURams lead Omaha 82-65 with 5 minutes left.

Halftime: Colorado State 48, Omaha 38

Depth on display once again in a strong offensive half for the #CSURams. Josh Pascarelli (11), Augustina Kiudulas (10) and Kyle Jorgensen (10) all in double figures already. Rams dominating the glass (20-11 edge) and getting to the FT line (15 attempts).

Good afternoon from Moby Arena. Here for my first in-person viewing of the #CSURams as they take on Omaha. Rams won their first game under Ali Farokhmanesh earlier this week. Lots of excitement despite the new-look roster.

Final: UNLV 42, Colorado State 10

Just like the #CUBuffs earlier today, the #CSURams have officially been eliminated from bowl contention with a blowout home loss. Another dismal offensive performance, despite an extra week of prep and against Mountain West's worst defense.

Next up: at New Mexico
November 9, 2025 at 5:49 AM
That probably does it. Just 2 plays after #CSURams missed FG, UNLV hits another big play, this time a 68-yard pass from Colandrea to Troy Omeire for a TD. Rams down 28-10 less than 3 minutes into the third quarter.
November 9, 2025 at 4:37 AM
Welp, that didn't go as planned. #CSURams only get 4 yards on 3 plays and then Isaiah Hankins' 52-yard FG attempt is wide left. Big missed opportunity. UNLV still lead 21-10 less than 2 minutes into the third quarter.
Second half underway in Fort Collins and the #CSURams defense does well to force a quick three-and-out. Great field position for the offense, too, after a solid return by Javion Kinnard. Feels like CSU HAS to score here to grab momentum. Ball on UNLV 33-yard line.

Halftime: UNLV 21, Colorado State

Despite leading for a decent chunk of the first half, the #CSURams go into the locker room down 2 scores. They even botched a chance to get a FG to end it. Rebels with a slight edge in yards, 233-215, and it's big plays that are the difference so far.
November 9, 2025 at 4:05 AM
UNLV QB Anthony Colandrea keeps himself and scores from 5 yards out on third-and-goal. Another quick score for the Rebels set up by a 59-yard run by Jai'Den Thomas, who has 121 rushing yards on 4 carries. #CSURams down 14-10 with 7:07 left in the first half.
November 9, 2025 at 3:38 AM
#CSURams retake the lead (10-7) on a 23-yard FG by Isaiah Hankins. Big 48-yard completion down the middle from Jackson Brousseau to Rocky Beers got the offense in the red zone but they couldn't cash in for 6. Still 9:33 left in the first half.
November 9, 2025 at 3:33 AM
Wow, Jai'Den Thomas got into the end zone in a HURRY. UNLV ties things up at 7-7 after the 57-yard touchdown run by the junior RB. #CSURams defense had done well to limit the explosive Rebels offense until that play, but man these UNLV guys can burn in space.
November 9, 2025 at 3:21 AM
#CSURams get a fortunate bounce as UNLV is driving. Nice PUB in the end zone by Jahari Rogers and it somehow ends up in the hands of Jace Bellah for the interception. It's Bellah's 4th INT of the season (all in the last 4 games). Rams offense takes over at the 20.
November 9, 2025 at 3:09 AM
Perfect start for the #CSURams. After they score on their opening series, the defense forces a punt against the Mountain West's top offense as UNLV gains just 16 yards and one first down before CSU gets off the field.
November 9, 2025 at 2:52 AM
Well, that's a nice start. #CSURams receive the opening kickoff and go right down the field to take a 7-0 lead on a 3-yard pass from Jackson Brousseau to Rocky Beers on fourth-and-goal. Caps a 13-play, 75-yard drive that took nearly 6 minutes off the clock.

No. 9 Denver hockey completes the weekend sweep of No. 4 Western Michigan with a 6-3 win tonight.

Good evening from Canvas Stadium. #CSURams (2-6, 1-4 MW) are back from a bye week and set to take on UNLV (6-2, 2-2 MW) and the conference’s best offense. CSU rocking sweet new alternate “snow days” uniforms tonight with kickoff set for 7:30 p.m. (FS1). Follow along throughout!
