I hope that kid remembers what it's like getting gassed and associates it with the policies that did it.

Ya know @keribla.bsky.social, the only thing good about prison guards fleeing for ICE is that the public now gets to see what they haven't been able to see before... There are quite a few prison guards who shouldn't be given a gun ...a baton ...or a set of keys (those hurt too).

It wasn't like there were any of us warning what "Homeland security" would become when it was created.... How many of us heard the name alone and said "Orwell warned us..." only to be called unpatriotic.
