the novelization is such a rich text for characterization, it makes me giddy 😭 im in love with the way it frequently describes leona as being still and calm and even /gentle/ when he's at his most calculating, his angriest. it's so much more palpable than the game, and triply so than the fanon

the "sameface" discourse around book 2 of the twst manga is so tired to me, especially if you put the book in context. nothing abt the way it was illustrated is different from the way it plays out in the game
