As the next Congress sets its agenda, it’s baffling how the push for tax cuts still deceives the public. These cuts won’t help the middle class but enrich the wealthy. To pay for them essential services will be reduced. Don’t let Congress sell this as relief—it’s a gift to the rich at your expense.

I too grew up that diversity is a strength. From Sesame Street (Roosevelt Franklin, Luis, Maria), to the Coke commercial, "I'd like to teach the world to sing in perfect harmony", to the album "Free to be you and me". While I am saddened by how our society has fractured, I won't let it!!

The drivers of the U.S. debt (red line) are not the U.S. public servants (blue line). The number of public servants has not changed significantly over the past 40 years yet serves a population (green line) that has expanded considerably. Federal employees serve our Nation with distinction.
