Here’s the promised #wipwednesday! A little two part snippet from chapter 4 of A Door Inside Your Heart that I worked on yesterday 🥰

Probably not perfect but still!
He is at the counter, organizing small tokens, candles, and handmade jewelry by a local artist, when the front door chimes open. Jungkook checks his watch, curious as the Shop is a stickler with opening and closing times, and they still have an hour before it’s time to open. Jungkook turns to see who has come in, thinking maybe one of his employees was here early, only to come face-to-face with the reincarnation of one of the Four Beauties. Or maybe Aphrodite is more accurate with her long, blond hair styled in a thick braid that elegantly hangs off her shoulder. He can see highlights of gold and silver in her hair, like it’s made of starlight, glittering under the lights of the Shop. She’s wearing a long, flowing silk robe with billowing sleeves that flutter around her while she walks. The robe is decorated with traditional flowers and butterflies along the sleeves and the bottom portion, in white and silver, which highlight the deep purple color of the robe. She’s wearing a simple, sleeveless dress in a soft lilac color that complements the dark robe. The dress is tight to the body, showcasing her curves as she walks towards Jungkook with a familiar smile on her face. “Jungkook-ssi!” She greets him, her voice melodic and sweet to his ears. He blinks as she reaches the counter, still smiling at him. Jungkook’s eyes move from her pretty, plump, rosy lips to her silver star earrings that dangle and glint under the lights to her small, delicate hands that gently rest against the counter with perfectly manicured fingernails in a similar shade of purple as her dress at the tips of the nail before fading to a more natural nude at the base of the nail. She’s wearing several rings of various sizes, shapes, and jewels, all with silver bases. It’s the bracelet that catches his attention. A simple, thin silver band with a single charm dangling from the metal. It takes a moment for Jungkook to notice that it’s a simplified foxglove flower. He looks up to the beautiful woman who is still smiling at him, waiting for him to greet her in return. The recognition of her face dawns on him suddenly. “Jimin-ssi…?” He says slowly, still unsure if he is correct, but is instantly relieved when she beams at him. “I knew you would get it!” Jimin says, clapping her hands together. “I could tell it caught you off guard, but you figured it out.” She gives him a wink, and Jungkook gives her a shaky smile in return, hoping he doesn’t look too flustered. It’s not every day someone as beautiful as Park Jimin talks to him, and without his shopkeeper persona, Jungkook is typically awkward with others.

Chapter 2 Chapter summary: Both Namjoon and Jungsoon experience some horny guilt after that night. This becomes a common theme in their marriage. Yoongi thought the wedding night would be the last and only time but he finds himself inside Jungsoon two weeks later while her husband eagerly watches by the royal bed. Yoongi had invited them for dinner after they returned from their honeymoon. When Namjoon arrived in court for the first time since his wedding, Yoongi heard the mutters from the other ministers how marriage looked good on Namjoon already. The comment made Yoongi want to nash his teeth so instead, he brought up the divisive topic of what to do with the water rights for this year's taxes. Yoongi did nothing but sip his tea and watch petty men verbally fight each other for the rest of the afternoon. When Namjoon greeted Yoongi after court, he did so with an amusing smile on his face before following Yoongi to their gazebo for an afternoon game of chess and snacks. It was there that Yoongi invited his friend to dinner and when Namjoon gently asked if Jungsoon could join them, Yoongi couldn’t find a reason to say no.
