These seem like smart questions. India may indeed be an emerging market, but it seems like they're more focused on mobile. Evo's acquisition seems more like a shoot-first-ask-questions-later move than any real solid plan, and I guess that is what is troubling: still just a plaything

This is probably the smarter model - leverage power as a rights-holder to lend use of these assets for direct partnerships. But what could that mean for Evo? Have to pay to restream? Must subscribe to see VODs? Higher ticket prices? Who knows

This is a company that has yet to be off the teat but has major ambitions. It has grown substantially in South Asia by acquiring popular IP's and scaling up, but its losses have steepened, and now will have greater financial responsibility. What's their plan?

New from Me - "Smashbara" is being employed as a means to stop FGC TO's from excluding racists and extremists from tournaments. It turns out this is just another step in a push by advocates for Israel to deny its ongoing Genocide and criminalize dissent
