Which I can understand. Fighting big monsters are cool, but I also like the build up to it as well. It’s just that DMs I’ve played under spent a lot of building up only to not be able to give the payoff. Life happens and I never blame them, but it still gets a bit disappointing.

Kinda makes me sad none of my games have lasted long enough to fight legendary monsters like these. Closest I've ever gotten was a fight against a Ancient Black Dragon, but it was less of a "fight" and more of a "Attack it enough to make you look a annoyance that's not worth it." Maybe one day.

Vrchat is a very great way to help out with that. While I myself don't get anxiety, I do have a hard time talking to new people and be social. I have improved that a little by playing VR. Good luck on approvement!
