The only thing that will increase any Kings players values is a bidding war. As the trade deadline gets closer and some teams feel like they have a shot to win it this year they might give a decent return for some players.

Something good teams do is get good players when their value is lower than what it should be and avoid bad players that are playing really good. Kings managed to do the opposite by trading for Lavine last year when he was on a heater and probably trading away Sabonis when his value is in the toilet.

It’s also weird that Doug is telling haters to keep their energy but then postgame talks about how players are being lazy on defense. Would indicate that the hate is warranted lol.

Feels like the announcement that they’re open for business is just hoping they get an awesome offer for any players by deadline. What most likely happens is they’re able to move Sabonis, DeRozan finishes the year here, and Lavine plays most if not all of his contract here.

In his first term there seemed to be some in his cabinet who challenged him on his craziest ideas. Since 1/6 he has surrounded himself with people who tell him every idea he has is genius. After 5 years of people telling you every idea you have is good you have to start going crazy.

Ya, the Vikings screwed themselves banking on a rookie qb. I feel like it’s pretty rare for a rookie to be able to instantly propel teams to the playoffs and when you have a team that’s built to win right now you don’t have time to go through rookie qb growing pains.
