I also don't like the tribalistic nature of politics but the fact remains that there are people in the opposing "tribes" who I disagree with foundationally, about what is good, evil, the value of human life, who counts as human, and so on

the only thing I really want from a comic book writer is for them to be decent at their job, and most of the big names aren't

if you really honestly truly loved and admired normal people, common people, you would celebrate mediocrity
