Enjoyed my time with Open Streets Hennepin. Would be nice to have this event more often. Surprise food of the event was Hada’s cream cheese garlic buns.

Enjoying my time at the Open Streets event. Found a good local spot for Esquites Sweet Potatoes. It was delicious. Glad I brought, and could bring, hand sanitizer. Any event that bans bags that contain hand sanitizer needs to rework their policies.

I took a ride to Pamela Park to learn of three things. 1) Softball Playoffs are going on. 2) Edina is not great at protecting those who ride bicycles. 3) Pop Corners are a good pick me up and should provide enough energy to get me back home. Not trusting the weather this evening: rain is imminent.

I admit I am on Team Pinto Beans but this veggie burrito with black beans was good. Not sure I can recommend both burrito and Yuka Fries at the same time to everyone though.

Day 8 of #30DaysOfBiking. Did a lunch ride around Bde Maka Ska since tonight will be my first caucus event. Saw people out in shorts even in 30 degree weather so I know some folks are enjoying it. Also, Lime Bikes are back for those that want to ride in MPLS. #Bikesky

Day 3 of #30DaysOfBiking was done in three parts. Only showing the first part here. The main thing I learned: I think COVID is defeated considering I was out with the bike for almost three hours. May take tomorrow’s ride easy since there is an event Saturday. #BikeSky

Day 2 of #30DaysOfBiking. Did another morning lunch break bike. Weather was ugly but I was dressed for the weather. Saw some shops to check out another day. No issues with pedaling or cars. Only needed e-bike power for lights. One or two more days of required masking left. #Bikesky #MPLSCycleCast

Apparently eating outside after a bike ride is common even in 40 degree Fahrenheit weather. When in Minneapolis I guess. Food is decent: may come back another day by myself for indoor seating. #Bikesky

One day, I hope to pedal over here in the snow. Not sure if #30DOB will happen at the same time as snow, but we will see. Just glad my health is good for me to walk a little down here. At least I know others were able to cycle here successfully. #MPLSCycleCast #Bikesky

I feel my health is improving despite having the COVID diagnosis earlier. I do have one errand to take care of tomorrow afternoon that is unfortunately time sensitive (it was set up before I got the diagnosis and cannot be delayed). I know to stay masked and covered, & I know to get in and get out.
