Our country is divided because of right wing extremism. There’s too many willfully ignorant gullible people in this country that lack a shred of critical thinking. The hypocrisy and cognitive dissonance runs rampant like a disease to these people who claim to be “patriots”.

The right are desperate to blame the left for the gun violence in this country while remaining willfully ignorant to those who have been shot and killed at schools and anyone on the left for their political beliefs. They do this because they are insecure and suffer from cognitive dissonance.

I have to remind myself that when this happens to our people, we are mortified, angry, and sad. Gun violence is an issue that should unite both sides as it affects both sides. We don’t want it committed upon us, therefore we shouldn’t want it committed upon them.
