Has anyone discussed the title yet? An outline is a writing/study tool & also the edge/skin of something … like in forensics. I have had a mounting sense of unease as the book has progressed, foreboding. The protagonist as almost a blank. “Outline” is a great double-edged word.

Feels like a metaphor … for the collapsed marriages especially, but really any trusted, beautiful, admired thing/experience that gives way.
