1. Pochettino and staff got the important things right in his tenure. Criticism has been because some steps were unexpected. Team is growing.

2. Multiple MLS players are the heart of the fight in this team. Their inclusion is justified.

3. Fight, creativity, control. Good performance.

Ronny Delia is crap. An avid MLS watcher here and my team fears Nancy coached crew even though their star quality is low. Delia lucked his way to an MLS cup in 2021 and took the most expensive team in MLS to almost the worst record this year and is now fired. Nancy ball is so much better, I promise.

You’re right, there are a lot of “fans” in the US who think MLS is the worst league in the world and football can only be played in Europe and sometimes South America.

If you are enjoying Celtic football as is, awesome. I am hoping Nancy leaves because he gives me heartburn as an FC Cincinnati fan.
November 13, 2025 at 1:26 AM
That being said, I’ve always kept an eye on Celtic since the King Henrik years. (A lot harder to follow back then). So I hope you all turn it around soon.

But don’t worry keep doing the same thing over and over again and I’m sure the glory days of “successful” European nights will return. Just need to find that overpriced British manager, will definitely make it better.
November 13, 2025 at 12:25 AM
Hahaha, you have no idea what it’s like to support a team that don’t spend 10x the rest of the league do you? Yes, you need someone who knows how to pick a squad and coach movement because your recruitment has been ass and your team plays with tactics from the 90s.
November 13, 2025 at 12:24 AM
I totally get this take, but I will say. This is not “possession football”. This is attacking football, he is way more vertical than typical “possession managers”. 1 of the best coaches I’ve ever seen. His teams had talent deficits and he coaches up players and the movement is amazing.

You know what, I’m wrong on this. Going into someone else’s home field in opposing colors could probably get you some light hearted jokes or something. But if my kid and I could only see our favorite team play at Crew’s home field, I wouldn’t want him yelled at, so I’m sorry that happened to you.
November 10, 2025 at 3:18 AM
In all seriousness though, that sucks to get a hypocritical patriotism cop yelling in your face.
November 10, 2025 at 2:21 AM
Oh look an entitled Crew fan visiting someone else’s home in offensive colors the home crowd don’t want to see and then get indignant and post online when home fans are unhappy to see them.

This is exactly what Cincy fans think Crew fans are, and turns out they’re right.

This frustration I’m hearing from writers and pundits seems more born of not knowing and bringing issues of past failures into this process. The majority of this squad is the same as GGG and that “familiarity” with the system and teammates didn’t create better results. So why the whining?
August 27, 2025 at 11:00 PM
Why is everyone so concerned about what players are called in in September? Has that much the roster rotated that these guys don’t know each other. Are Poch national team tactics so complicated a professional soccer player couldn’t understand them and their role between March and pre-world cup week?

Certain Fans & media would be the assholes saying how he’s so frail if he gets injured during the club year before the World Cup after 3 consecutive years with no break. He feels it’s necessary to skip gold cup something they play only to make CONCACAF money & against teams that tear his legs apart.
June 14, 2025 at 12:11 AM
A man with a long standing history of putting body on the line for USMNT and getting injured wants a break instead of 4 consecutive working summers. More power to him. It’s not the month before the World Cup. IT IS A YEAR AWAY. Media and fans are fear mongering idiots.
June 14, 2025 at 12:07 AM
On the next 30 for 30… How 1 drunk “mate” trying to retrieve his card from a bartender while his favorite song was on changed “football” celebrations for all time.
April 27, 2025 at 7:22 PM
Agreed that kind of thing is dangerous, but they didn’t even give the bike on Zimmerman’s face earlier this year a yellow, if I remember correctly. So I doubt they give a guy a foul for not hitting anyone and scoring the goal of the year.
April 27, 2025 at 2:59 AM
Honestly thought he was good for fc Cincinnati. Not sure what he didn’t show in training, but after being sidelined with an injury for a bit, never really saw the field for first team again. But solid back up.
January 27, 2025 at 5:48 AM
This screams existing NWSL ownership cash grab. Which owners are in trouble and needed the cash flow? Cincinnati was ready & willing to have the best stadium & facilities in the league attracting top talent to prop up league w/ a top game day experience. Plus create drivable rivalry w/ Loucity.
