It's a free live service gacha game. It likely wouldn't even get a physical release. If it did, there wouldn't even be a point in doing anything else but a key card. These games are always online and always changing.

I think for award shows —and other methods of praise, they should be criticized for this; zero tolerance means zero tolerance. However, I think it's okay to give them another chance, and I'm excited to see what future projects they have planned. I don't think they did wrong but consequences matter.

It's kind of like running DS games on the 3DS. They perform better, but look worse on the larger screen.

It's fine. They are the same as on switch 1. Some games feel like major improvements — like hitting a consistent frame rate, but most of the performance boost comes from a lack of optimization/care on the original system, like Pokémon. What's bad is handheld mode; the locked 720p looks awful.

Listen, ask yourself... do you want mario kart/DK that bad? Because those are the only 2 notable exclusives on that platform atm... besides that, you have to consider if you're willing to tank the cost of the console, accessories, and the games rn.
