Hahaha that's true, and the world is already depressing as is, the only true answer is escapism through abstraction! 💪😂

That's true! Had to get used to it, but it added to the "scratchy" feeling, like I was carving into the blackness, so it kind of worked for this one. Thank you so much!

Aww thank you! Yes, I really hope I'll get to see it at a festival, will try my luck!

No, I animated everything digitally directly white on black :) But the musician also knew from the beginning he wanted a black background & and a very grainy look, so it made my process quite straightforward!

Yeah There are invisible bits of geo parented to the rig for the GP loops to be drawn onto and to occlude the back of the GP loops, this one was also from before GP 3, so there's no geo nodes on on the GP elements, only on the mesh bits if i remember correctly! Thanks again for the super kind words!

Yeah but its not so much blending as it is syncing the playback of these loops with its placement on a wrapped curve factor

No actually at the time GP3 hadn't come out yet, we tried to work around it but eventually used image sequences, we're gonna upload a little BTS video soon showing the setup. As for GP3xGeonodes we're also learning and experimenting atm but as soon we find some good resources we'll share em here!
