4. My 1st short comic WIP
A comic style illustration of Chris Evan’s Captain America in the chunky style of Jack Kirby. A delicate line and watercolour illustration of a D&D character. It’s a bust of a beautiful young woman faun with large floppy ears, freckles and long, full golden hair with loose thick braids tied at the ends. She’s wearing a green, open V-neck shirt and brass welder’s goggles on her head. A 30s style spoof horror movie poster, of floating heads on a dark background over a burst of teal and red emerging from a jawless skull on the lower right. It repurposes the original 1935 ‘Bride of Frankenstein’ poster for a new comic character called ‘Mr Guy: Zombie Hunter.’ Created by artist, Jayel Draco. The largest floating head in the middle is Mr. Guy, reimagined as golden age Dracula actor Bella Lugosi with a sickly green and serious complexion with a huge red scar from his right temple, across the bridge of his nose and down across his left cheek. The tagline in scandalous, frightening lettering says: ‘Warning! To save himself he must save us all… How tedious!’ A photo of two pages of original, black ink over pale blue pencil comic artwork. The large opening panel shows a 1930s London street at night, an old car in the foreground and title ’Trigger Warning’ in large lettering formed from the bricks of the terrace facing them. The rest shows multiple panels of two men in a car, one drinking, the other displeased when they see a bald man in an over coat and chase after him.

I lived in a world in which I didn’t know I existed. 26yrs of depression, anxiety, undiagnosed AuDHD & a brutal 15yr ED left no light at the end of the tunnel.
