i want nothing more than to make art and share it with my friends. so it is infinitely frustrating that the first ever time i have irls (and onlines 🥀) who are interested in my art journey is also marked by one of my strongest art blocks in YEARS. and the fact that ik it’s due to irl stress.

finally a reeflux kit that convinced me to play it for more than two games. bad news guys. i like it. a lot. this isn’t even about the kit i just finally had a reason to feel around the main for a bit. ive been studying the bow… the one-shots on this thing are literally easier to me than on blasters

mini is always weird without a burst bomb, but i do appreciate the vision behind beakon. it’s a bit more methodical than the vanilla, you need to be a bit more supportive and pick your fights carefully. but i kinda like that on mini. plus beakon deploy into low ink strats actually kinds goes hard.

new hydra is just a damn good fun time. does it result in a unique playstyle? not particularly, but considering how inflexible the main can be, having 2 kits covering what it does best in 2 different ways is gonna feel SO nice. plus deployables feel nice, continuation is super important with hydra.

is it good? oh surely it probably is. maybe even beats out the vanilla zones niche. but the vanilla niche is so FUN, man. it would be different if it was something like torp; then you can still feel like a powerful fighter while surviving to save your crab. but now surviving needs to come first. idk

here’s the hot take: not a fan of hornz dread from a casual perspective. maybe it’ll warm up over time and comp is a completely different story, but the loss of a good bomb in addition to getting a long-duration, timing-sensitive special just kills the playstyle that stole my heart when it dropped.

jet squelcher. they finally made a kit that’s not a snoozefest and it still just feels like sexplo but a shooter. very grateful my baby now has a burst kit but you just get sad knowing what it could have been. but it’s just a damn fun reliable anchor at the end of the day.

it’s strange how similar brnz painbrush feels to the nouveau. like, it’s a painbrush with a somewhat useful utility sub and a powerful, quick ranged special. nouveau is more reliable, brnz has higher risk and reward. both fun but they kinda overlap way too much. wish we got a kraken or stamp instead
