I do think many people learn a lot about themselves that way for sure, whether it's identity or just what they like and are comfortable with. and that's good! :)

like idk, I'm still very iffy about my gender identity, and I can't say that's been my only influence (listening to my favorite male vocal artists has probably had a heavier influence at least lately lmao). but it is interesting to see people be unabashed abt that when I was agonizing over it myself
