If U.S. Presidents had access to a magic red button that would switch to country from a Representative democracy to a dictatorship, not only would Trump be amongst the small minority of past and present office holders that would press it, he would also be the only one to do so it immediately.

Good thing for the current US administration, there are no historic parallels involving unilaterally promoting a deeply unpopular and divisive political outsider to a highly sensitive role. Even if there were, I am sure it worked out great for all involved. 👁👁
