Imagine if all this were going on, and it was Biden who was president. The other side would be completely losing their minds. And they would be right to, because no matter who is in power, what is happening right now is absolutely the antithesis of democracy, and is 100 percent pro-authoritarianism.

Shaming people only makes people dig their heels in further. We have to find a way somehow to compassion, curiosity, and understanding, or we will never get anywhere.

Our orange president is not an idiot, but he plays one on TV. This is the best and easiest way a showman cons others. When we think someone's an idiot, that intelligent person who we all write off as a buffoon can get away with murder. Literally.

For people who don't understand why there needs to be a Black History Month, please know that there are literally thousands of historical stories and incredible accomplishments and contributions by black people that have been completely wiped out and are not being taught in schools.
