Dude, it is this inability to understand realpolitik that has kept democrats from winning elections. You can prance around with your high minded morality, but it doesn’t mean anything when we have no power to enact progressive policies.

That’s fair, but in this day and age the right wing outrage machine does not care if they are accused or convicted. Once again, we need to focus on the bigger picture. We need to win back voters.

What would you have them do? The optics would be terrible for democrats if they do not support a measure that would deport criminals. Come on man. We need to pick our battles carefully. There is no political gain in not supporting this measure.

Or we can simply discourage having children in the US. My sister and her husband plan to leave the US and have their children in his homeland (Norway). Norway has a better social safety net and they won’t have to worry about school mass shootings.

Honestly, when I read this guy’s obituary, a small part of me will actually feel joy that he is six feet under. I know that that sounds cruel, but I cannot muster any sympathy for someone who has contributed to the degradation of our democracy. F*ck this man and his ilk.

Can’t blame the Democratic Party if we all decide to leave the country! Please make an exit plan out of America. We all know that this is a sinking ship. Save yourselves! There are many other countries to escape: Mexico, Costa Rica, Canada, the EU, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines etc. GTFO!

Honestly, at this point I have stopped caring what these people have to say. I’m done. Focus on your own mental and physical health. Save your money. Take care of your family. Make sure your passport is up to date, and be ready to leave when it is time. Go anywhere in the world and forget the US.
