The complaints I have are: the fan gets super loud, the speakers aren’t as loud or clear as the SD, and the controller layout of the SD was way more ergonomic and comfortable. I got used to the layout of the SD almost immediately, and I miss that the most.

I regrettably bought one a couple months ago full price ($900+ after tax), but it’s definitely the best SteamOS console you can get right now. With no SD2 announced yet, and performance on the SD gradually getting worse with recently released games, I’d say it’s definitely worth it at this price.

As someone who used to be a huge Nintendo mark but doesn’t have nearly as much interest in first party games other than Zelda, third party support providing games that don’t look like something two generations behind will go a long way in justifying the purchase of the console. Let’s go Nintendo.
