Schedule will get easier, so it probably comes down to health of Deni.

it should be a priority for all teams save OKC, to facilitate the Clippers getting themselves out of the lottery, so I hope the current trend continues for them

Deni was in a car accident?
January 12, 2026 at 8:34 PM
One of my favorites to watch during that era.

"We want to foul him and not get called for it" is an interesting angle.
January 9, 2026 at 2:14 AM
I think it would have been different if he had possession before the contact. He tipped the ball, shoved him in the back, then. got possession. The shove gave him a clear advantage. The replay ruling was "incidental contact", and that's simply rubbish.
January 8, 2026 at 6:05 AM
Shoving Love in the back? That's not incidental contact.
January 8, 2026 at 5:55 AM
really curious how anyone interprets what happened there as "incidental contact"
January 8, 2026 at 5:45 AM
utterly ridiculous review on the challenge - shouldn't have even been an issue
January 8, 2026 at 5:44 AM
were they watching alternate replay - totally speechless
January 8, 2026 at 5:39 AM
This would definitely motivate me to execute a flashy windmill dunk at that point.

day before I was to have micro-fracture surgery on my ankle, I stubbed my pinky toe on a wrought-iron chair and broke it

Blazers lead the league in turnovers. It's the natural outcome of not having any point guards. Turn them over and force them to shoot from the perimeter (2nd worst in fg% and 3fg%), and you beat them.
December 28, 2025 at 11:53 PM
Being the second-worst 3pt shooting team in the league doesn't bode well for Portland getting this to overtime.
December 24, 2025 at 5:23 AM
just waiting for them to platoon in the Remix starting five in a game
December 24, 2025 at 3:30 AM
he's missing the 3's on principle
December 23, 2025 at 4:14 AM
Trail Blazers

Second-hardest strength of schedule so far, and they'll have multiple players returning from injury over time:

He doesn't appear to have improved at all offensively, and he doesn't bring the shut-down defense that seemed to be the baseline for what he could, at a minimum, bring to the team.
December 3, 2025 at 1:23 AM
Toughest part of their schedule was front-loaded. It's doubtful they fall into the lottery again unless they try to.
December 2, 2025 at 6:26 PM
I don't know, I think they can hold SGA under 30 free throw attempts.
November 24, 2025 at 12:38 AM
really bad defensive awareness by Deni there
November 20, 2025 at 5:34 AM
Agreed. I don't care if Starlink does my hair, massages my back, and does the dishes. It's not worth contributing to the fuckery of that bigot.
November 19, 2025 at 1:10 AM
They would be a really bad team without him at this point. We'd be talking about the race to the bottom and tanking for Dybantsa (or whoever else.)
November 6, 2025 at 11:23 PM
Tell that to Utah
