It’s not just the lack of empathy that gets me, it’s the desire for cruelty towards others that seems so antithetical to what they profess to believe.

As an American I fully support your boycott. It’s sad. I have friends that were coming this summer from other countries, and now they’re not coming. I don’t get to see my friends because of the orange asshole. We are finding out what it means to be a pariah.
