“Han” is a literature invention. There are plenty of ways to analyze Korean politics without resorting to lazy, cultural explanations.

Seok claimed that Yoon did not intend to paralyze the parliament’s functions, despite the deployment of hundreds of troops who encircled the National Assembly ahead of a crucial vote to lift martial law. Seok also denied claims that the president ordered the arrest of politicians.
