There's a list going around of local restaurants and mutual aid organizations in my area offering free or discounted meals for SNAP recipients. Turns out it's incredibly easy to buy whole meals for families in need through these folks that are already set up to feed people.

Make the Goddamn meal and put it in your Free Fridge. Write the $100 check to the food bank. Ask your local school what they need for the kids and then go about trying to get that stuff.... Do these things regularly and you are making meaningful contributions to your communities.

Lately I've been thinking about it like me and everyone I know working towards something are all little Sisyphuses and that by the end collectively we will have moved a mountain. My job is simply to continue to roll this ball up the hill & I can't be preoccupied by the outcome.
