Stained Glass Artist and Instructor from Upstate New York living in Wilson North Carolina
My logo- I made my logo in stained glass back in 2004, when I changed the name of my business. I chose a Thistle to honor my heritage on my maternal side. My grandfather was from Dundee and my grandmother was from Perth.

How do you care for Stained Glass Art Work?
1. DO NOT HANG WITH A SUCTION CUP HANGER
2. It hates Windex! It will damage the soldering and the metal frame.
Reach out to me for complete list.
Follow for more stories and tips from my stained glass studio!

It is supposed to rain all day tomorrow, I am hoping it turns to snow! I am bringing in firewood to set up a work area in the living room to snuggle down and get cozy in front of the fireplace.
Till then I am in the studio and have a beautiful Orchid watching over me.

Moving on from Organic Shapes Stained Glass Pendants to Bar Stained Glass Pendants. I love the new look and feel to wear.
I might switch from the black cord to chain going from the ring around the neck to the other ring.
What do you think?

First Textured Copper Ring out of the studio. I love it, light and comfy. I used copper solder but it did not stay copper. Need to go light on the solder also, don’t want any blobby seams. I had use a micro torch, could not get big torch to stay lit :(

I need something to keep track of projects that are ongoing, new or in the future. I have used others .. nothing stuck.
I set up an index and sections and off I went.
Now 6 days in, guess what it is working. I am not holding my breath but I think I found what I was looking for!

People ask me why do I keep teaching stained glass classes.

Why? Because I believe it is my legacy to teach as many people as possible how to work with stained glass so they can fall in love with the art form and share with even more people.

Do you want to take a class with me?

Packed for a Market! Thank goodness for Bobby my van, he holds so much and get us to market and back.
PS- I have to take photos of how the van is packed before I leave the house so I know how to repack it on the way home so I don’t have to reinvent the packing wheel!!!

Candleholder I made and now regret using the glass for this. The color deserved a better choise of project, something hanging in a window to let the glass really show itself. Think I will take ti apart and give it a better life.
