At the end of January I walked into my LYS and said “I need a Dissent cardigan!” By the time it was finished and the buttons arrived, the weather became to warm to wear it. Not happy about the current cold snap but I’m very happy to wear my cardigan!

When I set Feb. 28 as the release date for Dock Street, it was months ago. A lot has changed since then. As a small business, any time you purchase a pattern, a larger business gets a portion of the sale. So in support of today’s economic blackout, Dock Street will now come out March 1st.

I’m really loving how the yoke for my Dissent cardigan is looking.

It was cold and windy but that didn’t deter people from showing up.

Today is my son, Mason’s birthday. He would have been 30 but we lost him to suicide at age 22. In those early days of raw grief, knitting became an anchor that saved me from drowning. That fact, and Mason’s tattoo, became the inspiration for my first design Anchors Aweigh.
