Also underrated: I had SO MUCH FUN with Em X. Liu's The Death I Gave Him when I read it earlier this year. A queer sci-fi retelling of Hamlet as a locked room thriller. Shakespeare would be proud. 💙📚

Another title I'd add under "Weird Fiction" that flew under everyone's radar: Be Here to Love Me at The End of the World by Sasha Fletcher is the best book processing the grief of the pandemic that I've read to date.
