Visited the arboretum to see the fall colors. The holly was beautiful and the trees were full of glorious color.

The wasps outside my second story window are finally laying and sealing their eggs (sorry for the dirty window, I don’t own a ladder, plus I’m trying to leave the wasps alone). It’s been so interesting to watch them build this nest and now lay in it.

Y’all. My sister in law (whom I adore) has lived, worked, & breathed academia for the last 40 years. She recently retired and is posting her “new”discoveries on Facebook. I just can’t! She’s so adorable! And apparently was so deep in books and grades and papers that she missed all of pop culture.
