I'll always err on quality over quantity but that's seeing one parent wither with cancer and the other with increasing frailty, albeit age. Mum said she had lived too long and couldn't remember the last day she hadn't been in pain.

I remember when Mum asked me to sit in on her EOL chat with her GP; she said "I don't want someone jumping up and down on me, breaking my ribs". No nonsense Yorkshire nurse for you. I'm glad she let me know her wishes.

Did you get a refund? I had similar except the hotel refunded Booking.com but are refusing to pay me because it was a nonrefundable reservation and apparently through a partner though booked through them.

Thank you. So am I. I know how far the drop is, did this about a decade ago but it was me, not the dog that time. No ill effects but I did give him a treat on Wednesday, relief and mindful that he's at an age where he could be spooked but he took it in his stride. Such a good boy.
