Can we find this woman @tizzyent.bsky.social ? Because it would be nice to make sure she *fully* enjoys her Thanksgiving

It's well worth the time spent reading. Every few years I take it off the shelf and reread it. It's like spending time with a wonderful friend.

When I heard the news about Tatiana the first person I thought about was Caroline. My god, the burden of grief that poor woman has carried throughout her life is simply unimaginable. She has endured so much tragedy and now will face the most devastating thing of all: she must bury her child.

Wait, what? Did McD actually have him speak at their event?
If so, this has McDonalds boycott written all over it. WTH were they thinking.

Ok well this was exactly the laugh I needed this afternoon. Thanks!

Same. Our kids are grown and we'd love to downsize into a small place that's easier to maintain but it would be financially reckless of us to give up our current mortgage so, ironically, we're stuck now in the house we were so happy to buy. I'd love it if a young family could move in here.

Prewash everything. That quilt has a lot of red and that crisp white will act like a sponge.

It's a gorgeous quilt. Will you please post pics when you're done?

As long as you're making food ahead of time, bake up a French toast brunch casserole and freeze it for the morning after turkey day. You'll be tired and you won't feel like cooking and this will be a nice treat for that lazy Friday morning. Serve with eggs, bacon, and coffee.

They should all be on the chopping block. We need to dump every last one of them and start over, this time with people who actually care about what happens to *all* of us, not just some of us.

I wonder if these dem politicians understand that we now view them the same way we view the repubs?

I hope Peggy wins. We need to replace every single person currently holding office.

I think we can just call her Madame Mayor from now on, can't we?

Such a vulgar, tasteless man. Next thing you know, he'll bring in a shiny gold version of the family coat of arms he stole from Mr Davies (Marjorie Merriweather Post's third husband) and hang it over the fireplace so he can sit beneath it and smirk endlessly at the cameras.

Well, that's an immediate unfollow for George.

US here, so my opinion counts for 0, but it does seem weird that Oz should allow Charles, who publicly humiliated his late wife for years and whose brother is a known pedo, to be its king. Aussies are by far the best people in the world, and they deserve *much* better than that. You need no king.

When you are God-Emperor, I will fully support you in this.

Thank you very much, Chef. I host Stitch and Bitch sessions for my crafty friends (we sit together and sew and drink too much coffee and vent about anything and everything and it's fabulous fun) and I think the girls will love these treats!
