Watching some of the older folks cry as they made their final posts to TikTok last night was heartbreaking. For them the TT community was a family. It was people to talk to and friends. It helped some beat loneliness and others have a needed income. It is truly an injustice.

Just realizing: of course there will be a 90 day extension issued next week on the TikTok ban. And not because of our ability to use the platform. But because 90 days…gets us to Tax Day. So all the people/biz’s that have generated income won’t be able to say “I couldn’t get my tax forms from TikTok”

Friendly reminder that if you buy a book on Kindle, you're only paying for the rights to read, not own. If a book truly gets banned, it will be taken away from digital platforms like Kindle, nook, etc. Consider getting physical copies of banned (or other) books!

The "Thank you, goodbye" videos on TikTok today are so sad. The small businesses and side hustles that stand on the losing end of this have my sympathy. It was never about our protection and ALWAYS about protecting themselves. Their shares in Meta and interest in propaganda say it all.
