See, it's the spattering that stops me from attempting certain recipes. I am NOT cleaning all those oil spatters up. And a splatter screen gets some of it, but not in any way all of it.

It's amazing how well movies can devastate me emotionally. I saw Schindler's List in the theater. Kept my shit together the entire time. Got back to my car & sat there crying my eyes out for 15 minutes. Same w/ Castaway: it never fails to ruin me when Wilson is lost and when he re-unites with Kelly.
