RIP Penny. 1792-2025.

The US ended production of the penny on Nov 12. For over 230 years, pennies circulated through America. But rising production costs & spending habits – with each penny costing 4 cents to make – made it impractical to keep producing them.

Oh, Good Lord. Help us, please, to stop this madness.
NEW: @propublica.org investigated the Chicago apartment raid where kids were zip-tied and citizens detained for hours. They find:

- NONE of the arrested were criminally charged
- NO evidence the building was "filled with TdA terrorists."
- ZERO legitimate reason for DHS to rappel from a Blackhawk.

Trump's heartless America: Trump has made it very clear how much he hates homeless people. Now he plans to take away housing for 170,000 of formerly unhoused folks who were moved off the street into permanent housing. God please bless and keep these poor souls. (Free NYTimes article)

@vanjones68.bsky.social on The Shutdown: Republicans proved they don’t CARE much about the pain of American people.

Trump & GOP proved they were willing to let planes fall from the sky, US children starve & fed workers get evicted from their homes— rather than find a way for you to see a doctor.

@sanders.senate.gov lays out point by point just how bad last night's Senate vote was, with some traitorous Dem Senators' defecting and voting to kill 50,000 Americans every year unnecessarily by denying them healthcare. For what? To give tax breaks to billionaires.

In summary, Trump has taken credit for multiple negotiated ceasefires or peace efforts in several conflicts but the assertion he ended eight wars in eight months is an "overstatement" and not fully supported by conflict resolution facts on the ground

An overstatement, how about outright bullshit

Last week, New Jersey & some other states released full payouts to their portion of the 42 million who rely on foodstamps (SNAP) to eat. Trump is suing those states and threatening sanctions against them if they don't claw back those funds. Genocide is not too strong a word for Trump's actions.

It’s so wild that Greta Thunberg is peddling lies about her treatment in Israel, claiming she’s was beaten and tortured (yet not a single bruise or scar), all for self promotion, yet is silent about Hamas’ murderous rampage.

Since the ceasefire they’ve executed hundreds of Gazans… not a peep.

Jews are the only Indigenous people to win back our land. Instead of celebrating, the world attacks us for it.

Imagine how that feels to every other displaced nation still longing for sovereignty to see that.
