To me, this is not just some fake flower, but proof that some of the most beautiful things in our world, can only exist within the fictions we create.

A blue rose is generally known as a symbol for things like illusions, dreams, mystery, the unnatural and the unattainable. A flower that does not exist in nature of our real world, thus would have to be made by humans.

Appearing in Twin Peaks, it was a prevalent symbol, often being mentioned in relation to supernatural investigations. But I think David Lynch himself always saw a lot more meaning within it beyond that.

You really did, the emphasis on soft fur is very clear here, which is an important aspect of the character's ability to act as a comforting blanket, bringing the sleeper warmth and good dreams ❤️❤️❤️
