Sinners really reminded me of Crossroad Blues S2E8 of Supernatural. It was loosely based on the legend of Robert Johnson’s career as blues singer and the possible dabbling in dark magic. The parallels have me pondering why the Blues is linked to the paranormal.

Took a revision break to go and watch Sinners, and it was so good; easily one of the best movies I've seen in a while! Coogler, Jordan and Göransson for the win.
